Day 5: Reduce stress and meditate
Recap:
Day 2: Buy organic foods that boost your testosterone
It’s a dog eat dog world. And that comes with a lot of stress. However, stress is one of the primary culprits for Low–T.
This is why it’s crucial to reduce your stress levels as much as possible.
When you are under a lot of stress, you produce the hormone cortisol. Cortisol blocks the production of testosterone.
While there are many ways that you can reduce stress— yoga, exercise, journaling, I wanted to introduce something different; meditation. Meditation has been known to:
- Reduce stress
- Boosts immunity
- Improves concentration and focus
- Slows the aging process
- Increases happiness
Your challenge today: Meditate for at least 15 minutes.
If this is your first time meditating, it may be difficult to do 15 minutes. If you can’t sit still and be present for 15 minutes, at least meditate for 5 minutes.
Turn off all of your gadgets, computers, phones, and either sit on the floor or lay on your bed, and let your mind be still and quiet. Focus on your breath.
If you can’t sit still, do a quick meditation search on YouTube as well and listen to guided meditation if the silence is too much for you to handle!
Juice recipe of the day:
1 Beetroot
1 Carrot
1 Apple
Put in a blender, blend, and drink! This is a simple concoction with a powerful punch! This delicious and nutritious drink works because it:
- Reduces inflammation
- Reduces blood pressure
- Increases testosterone
You made it this far! But we still have a few more days to go. Be on the lookout for tomorrow’s email where I dive into some of the best all natural supplements you can take to level up your low-T!
Enjoy!
